What my agility dogs eat

Drummer & Piper are very different in what they need to keep them at an optimum weight, where Drummer struggles to maintain his weight, Piper only need look at food to maintain!
I’ve taken so much great information from a Facebook page called ‘Sports Dog Nutrition’

Don’t let the word ‘sport’ put you off joining, Holly has so much valuable advice for dog's guardians from all walks of life.
My dogs eat predominately a raw diet with Wolfworthy kibble used as a reward, my preferred raw is ‘Just Natural’ with its wide selection of good quality, complete meals. Added to this is:
Maxi Calm for Drummer - it helps him chill out and I also think it helps with any hormonal led behaviours.
Camomile - I buy tea bags from the supermarket and both have two bags worth once a day, it’s a natural calmer and helps make life zen.
Ace Canine Sprinkles - to look after their joints.
Antiforte Barf Complete - a multi vitamin to ensure they have all their dietary needs
Aniforte Premium Fees Oil - to keep their coats and skin in tip top condition.
Eggs - I add raw eggs (including the shell) a couple of times a week - adding nutrients like Vit A, Iron, Selenium and fatty acids.
Soaked porridge oats - these have been a game changer in helping keep Drummer at the perfect weight,
Sardines in Olive Oil - again added for Drummers benefit weight wise but they both get these a few times a week for all the benefits oily fish offer.
Slippers are not a staple part of their diet and not to be encouraged 🤦♀️
