Dog Training & Behaviour
From puppy to adult dog, there is absolutely no need to struggle with your training!
Getting a new puppy can be overwhelming, the excitement and joy can very quickly turn to despair and regret - puppy blues are a real thing and you are not alone!
Let me help you achieve your dog owning dreams - from basic puppy training - covering all the basic obedience skills such as sit, down, stand, house training, puppy management and play and how to build a fantastic relationship with your puppy, to the more advanced training involving achieving a fantastic recall, walking nicely on the lead, focus away from the environment and onto you, building calmness and an 'off' switch.
After the puppy stage we hit the adolescent stage, when it appears that your now confident teenage dog has forgotten all he's learnt - believe me I have been there! Training never stops and even though the days of constant rewarding have now passed, it is important to not let all those behaviours we worked so hard on become extinct!
A re-evaluation of your relationship and reward programme and putting you and your dog back on the right path, is probably all that will be required but it's important to get back on track as soon as possible - what our dogs practice is what they become and a dog that finds self reward in behaviours that we would rather they didn't (for instance chasing wildlife!) makes it difficult to revert that behaviour.
